Mako is brand new to Tumblr RP and is a really great friend of mine! He’s a little bit shy getting started since he’s never role played on Tumblr before, but I assure you, he’s a fantastic person for you to get to know. Give him time to get going and you’ll see how great he is.

Asami is my other LOK RP account that I’ll be more active on. My muse for Jinora is kind of… dead. I’ve been going through a few things in real life that are blocking me from writing cheerfully and I don’t want Jinora going through dark things since I’ve been in a mood for so long.

A single bead of sweat trickled down the sixteen year old’s tattooed forehead as she practiced her rounds through the spinning gates. Step one, two— leap—three, four. Each step was its own dance move, holding a girlish flare seen through her form. It was as if the air was her canvas and she was the artist, leaving behind a magnificent array of colors with every movement she made. The element that was once only mastered by two males of the world was now wrapped around the teenaged girl’s fingers.

Spinning out of the rotating gates with a dancer’s step and landing gently on the pavement, Jinora stood still for a moment. It was as if she’d woven herself into the currents of air speeding past her and had become one with the wind. ‘Be the leaf.’ The disciplined girl cracked a smile.

Without warning, doe eyes flickered open and took in the scenery with wonder. The sun was at its peak, beating down on Air Temple Island and heating everything in sight, and a natural, ocean breeze rustled the leaves on the overgrown trees. It was all a comfort to the young girl as she allowed herself to stumble back onto a stone bench and lay down with her face against the afternoon sun.

Time stood still for the airbender as she relaxed in the heat of the day. She was completely at peace and one with her spiritual side as she inhaled deeply. However, all too soon, the warmth of the sun was soon being blocked by some unknown force. Reluctantly opening her eyes, she came face to face with something—or rather, someone.

“Ah… excuse me?” The person asked, kindness laced in his tone as Jinora sat up slowly. With a better angle, the girl’s eyes locked on the male standing before her. Tall, bald, and wearing a gentle smile — an air acolyte. Wait, no. Not just an air acolyte. A handsome air acolyte.

Swallowing thickly, Jinora’s mouth suddenly went dry.

“Jinora, hello,” he greeted politely, though a hint of nervousness was evident as he cleared his throat. “Master Tenzin said I’d be able to find you out here… I — uh — was wondering if you were… interested in accompanying me to the city tomorrow. Maybe… out to eat, if you’d like, that is.”

Eyebrows furrowed in slight confusion as the girl put two and two together. Was he asking her out on a date?

Biting her lower lip, the girl offered him a slow nod. “Sure… That sounds fun,” she mumbled, her voice uncharacteristically shy as his smile widened and he left her with the details.

After his departure, the reality of the situation began to sink in and Jinora couldn’t contain the loud squeal that slipped past her lips. Launching herself into the sky with a burst of air, the girl landed back down on an air scooter and sped quickly through the grounds towards her home.

“Ikki!” The eldest shouted, leaping through the air and into her sister’s bedroom. “Ikki, you’ll never guess what just happened!” she panted, out of breath, as she tumbled onto the wooden floor. Such behavior was normally frowned upon by the eldest girl but the excitement racing through her veins was entirely too much to handle.

I should probably shut up posting because I’m just clogging up the dash but my level of feelings is just… not in a good place. Now everyone in my house is awake and I’m just sitting here feeling like poop. I want LOK back. I need to role play all of my feelings out but getting on has been a chore because I feel so crappy on all of my RP accounts for various reasons. I just need a hug. sdgjkds
