marauders4evr: My heart goes out to Jinora, right here. Everyone seems to be focused on Lin, Asami, and Korra. Don’t get me wrong, THEY SHOULD. All three are major BAMFs who have faced so much. But so has Jinora. I really think she grew up, in this episode. From the very beginning, where she was waiting up to make sure that Tenzin and Korra were alright. To her reaction when her mother went into labor. To her standing side-by-side Lin Beifong, and helping fight the Equalists. To this moment, where she hugs Ikki, reassuringly. This is a ten-year-old girl. A ten-year-old girl who has put aside her own childhood, to help protect her family.

There was no way she could have been stripped of her bending so easily. “I don’t — That… It can’t be true!” The girl shouted, ducking her head to hide the tears that stung violently at her eyes.
